How to change what gamertag my Xbox 360 automatically starts up in?
Q. Whenever we turn on the Xbox 360, it automatically signs into someone's gamertag. However, my brother's friend came over and made a gamertag, and now it always logs into that guy's gamertag when the Xbox is turned on. Is there any way to alter who's gamertag the 360 starts on when it's turned on, or ideally how would we get it to start up so that it's not logged into anyone's gamertag initially?

A. What you had before was not a Live account, just an account on your box. There is no way to transfer to you new live account, I have a live account and another xbox account on my box so that me and a buddy can play coop but that is about it. I do not use it other than that, sorry guy looks like you are going through all those games again. :(

Q. I made an offline profile with my saves and stuff but I also made a gamertag not knowing that I have to use my gamertag to play live. A. its impossible because each gamertag can only have 1 email address per account so if you try to merge the 2 profiles together you'll have 2 email addresses for 1 account which is impossible. if you just want your saves you can just go to memory and copy the saves to the other profile. but if its the achievements you want to "merge" in the other account, you cant do it...the best thing for you to do is create an xbox live account for the profile with all saves and achievements. buy gold membership>join xbox live>create new gamertag.

You can use a datel transfer kit. #1 Put your profile on a memory card #2 Download explorer360 on your PC #3 Then plug in the transfer kit #4 Plug in your memory card with your profile on it #5 Transfer your profile to your PC #6 Make a copy of that profile #7 Transfer one of your copies back to your memory card #8 Put that memory card back in your Xbox 360 and transfer to your HDD #9 Plug memory card back into transfer kit and put your copied file back on the card. There you have it. You will now have 1 copy of your profile on your HDD and 1 on your memory card. There is one note. You cannot have them both online at the same time. There is some more technical stuff to it but that is it in a nutshell.
