Where can I find a vehicle caution light bar?
Q. I am going to be doing a piloting service, this is where you escort the "Wide Load" Trucks. I need to get a yellow rotating caution light bar for the top of my vehicle. I can not seem to find a store that sells them, either online or not. Does anyone know of a store that I can buy these at?

How do you know when to employ a principle of caution?
Q. There may be a better wording for this phrase "principle of caution". What I mean by it is the following: when a relationship is discovered between two or more phenomena, the conclusion that there truly is such a relationship as specified should be reserved pending further data and experiment. The example I'll choose is medication, although many technological 'advances' will also suffice. I understand people dying of terminal diseases will assuage their doubts over the lack of proof behind a cure. But people suffering from garden variety depression seem not to have justification to take drugs with, not only known side effects, but possibly many unknown, yet, very life-threatning effects. How to caution internet job seekers about a scam er ?
Q. I have been scammed ,I wish to caution others internet job seekers like myself to avoid the said scummier. How to do that ?
Asked by avatar - Sat Aug 23 07:41:47 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. You can't, really - the Internet is way too vast, and there are way too many scams. You can post here under careers and employment, and get the word out to some people (and be more specific), but that's about it. And many people want to believe there's some magical way out there to make money - othewise there wouldn't BE so many scams. It's really rotten the scams that people post here to people desperate for a job, or to kids. Yahoo often bounces them off the board, but they're back the next day - look at one of the questions looking for at home employment opportunities, and notice how many of the scam responders just signed up that day.

Can someone get a green card to America if they have a criminal caution in the UK?
Q. If a juvinelle caution has been recieved does this affect/void the possibility of getting a Green card? And can this be resolved by marrying someone?
Asked by Jamie Dickinson - Sat Jan 19 21:57:51 2008 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Yes you can get a green card with a caution. They ask you if you have ever been arrested for anything. I was arrested at 16 for buying drink underage, I had to get a copy of my arrest history from the police. Go down to where you got the caution and fill out the form to get your criminal history printout. Don't worry about it, but be upfront.

Did they show the debris for the debris caution in Louden?
Q. I was just curious because of what Denny Hamlin said in his post race interview. He didn't seem real happy about the debris caution since he had already pitted for gas, and was second at the time. I didn't get to watch all of the race, and had to listen to a lot of it on the radio. So, I didn't get to see if they showed the debris or not.

A. Yes they did. On lap 214 caution came out. A piece of tube came off of a car and it showed it by the outside wall. Here is a video clip from NASCAR.com (Race Rewind) that shows it. It's right before the half way point of the video but clearly shows the debris. I don't know what Denny's response was to. I think there was only one caution for debris. I'm glad you brought that up. When he said that after the race my face was like "?"...??? It was like he was just saying something and it was making no sense...!!!

A. It will show up on an enhanced criminal record check, but it will not necessarily prevent your getting the job you want if it is not regarded as relevant. Those employing you will have a certain discretion in the matter.

Why doesn't Yahoo show a disclaimer/caution notice here in regard to answers given about health and medicine?
Q. So many people, especially women who are concerned they may be pregnant or have other health/medical conditions, post questions here on Yahoo Answers, looking for genuine answers if not advice to their health matters and problems. But although a lot of people mean well here on Yahoo Answers, not all answers given by people are always genuine/helpful as they can be misinformed, et cetera and I think it's always best (particulary with serious if not urgent) medical, health queries that persons arrange consultation with their doctor rather than resort to finding the answers on the internet. So shouldn't Yahoo Answers consider placing disclaimer or caution notices on here about what indeed may well be a better approach to getting answers on… [cont.]

A. I guess the generic legal disclaimer covers that. I wouldn't rely solely on advice given on Yahoo! Answers for anything. I have posted a few questions, not about health, that did provide useful information on which to base decisions in real life. The questions I answer are ones that I know an answer for. I'm a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in real life, fully licensed and tested, etc... When I answer something, I know that the person asking it doesn't just want to hear "talk to your doctor" every time. Duh! I'm sure they already knew that. So, what I do is try to give the person information that might help them figure-out what is happening or about what would happen with a certain course of treatment. I think this is helpful and doesn't… [cont.]

A. in actual fact a caution is simply a verbal warning nothing else and and for DALTON no terms are given. so you cannot be given a copy because it is verbal. no actual record of the incident will ever be made public and once the caution is given hat is the end of the matter ,you can never be took back to court for a breach of a caution and no punishment can be enforced after you have had the caution. you ask how long it lasts in real terms it lasts until you have left the police station sometimes before you have even lleft the office of the officer that issues the caution. it means nothing it is just the same as telling a little boy you have been naughty boy now go away and dont do it again or next time I will stop your pocket money or you… [cont.]

A. You don't get fined for a caution so yes it is a conviction. Am not sure what CRBS is but since you were an adult it will be on your record permanently. The original offense will always be accessible to law enforcement.

A. When you apply for a job with kids your employer will probably ask for a "CRB Disclosure" (where CRB stands for Criminal Records Bureau). I suspect that any convictions or cautions you have will be on that, and it'll be up to your employer whether they want to employ you then. Have a look at the CRB site to see what you can find out: I see from that site that Nacro may be able to help you with what's on a CRB Disclosure. As a general rule, don't accept a police caution for what you haven't done. It seems an easy way out, but it's not. Go to court and make the buggers prove you did it. Unless you did do it, that is.
