An autograph (from the Greek: αὐτός, autós, "self" and γράφω, gráphō, "write") is a document written entirely in the handwriting of its author, as opposed to a typeset document or one transcribed by an amanuensis or a copyist; the meaning overlaps with that of the word holograph. Autograph also refers to a person's signature. This term is used in particular for the practice of collecting autographs of celebrities. The hobby of collecting autographs is known as philography. The fact they are addressed to you would even decrease any value. I found a box of autographs in my grandpas old stuff, like NFL, NBA, and PGA tour players. I was shocked at the values. Most autographs really arent worth much. Depends on how famous the person is and how rare the persons autograph is. Your mascot isn't famous and probably signs 1000s of them a day to kids at the games. During my research on my own worthless autographs, i found that personally addressed autographs are worth less. Unless, of course, you can find a major collector with the same name as you. Good luck though. You may find someone that really wants that autograph.
