Proper nounSingular Windows Plural - Windows
From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. Microsoft Windows is a series of software operating systems and graphical user interfaces produced by Microsoft. Microsoft first introduced an operating environment named Windows in November 1985 as an add-on to MS-DOS in response to the growing interest in graphical user interfaces (GUIs). Microsoft Windows came to dominate the world's personal computer market, overtaking Mac OS, which had been introduced previously. At the 2004 IDC Directions conference, it was stated that Windows had approximately 90% of the client operating system market. The most recent client version of Windows is Windows Vista; the most recent server version is Windows Server 2008. Vista's successor, Windows 7 (currently a release candidate), is scheduled to be released on October 22, 2009. From Wikipedia under the

I took a train tour in Switzerland, and the views were simply impressive. The train is a "panorama" train, that is, it has huge windows to enable good views of the surroundings. However, the windows reflect some light form the inside of the train (kind of a mirror effect), and this ruins most of the pictures. Does anyone know how to reduce/eliminate this windows reflex, whether by using camera settings or with photo-editing software? Asked by Luis D - Sun Mar 22 09:33:21 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. Too late now without a lot of post production which may or may not work. In future - ensure your lens is as close to the window as possible, don't rest on the window as this will cause "camera shake". Also get a polarising filter which will help cut down on reflections if used properly.
